Only available choices for JQ7 and 8 are aisle seats in row 1 and 3.
(D or F)

Any suggestions?

Does row 3 have limited recline?

Row 1 is my preference for the generous legroom and avoiding the passenger in front reclining into my space.

Row 3 is normal recline. 3F is the best if it's a longer flight as 3GJ over the aisle will be curtained off for crew rest so it feels more private.

Row 1 is a no brainer. But you'll find out one way or another.

I think I asked this on the other thread too.

None of the above answers are exactly clear in my opinion either,

So out of rows 1 , 2 , and 3, which one has the best leg room? I am looking at this for next year to Europe via BKK. I am 6 foot 3.

At 6'3", neither is great. Row 1 will definitely give you more room and, even though you may not be able to stretch out fully, there'll be no one reclining into you and taking away even more legroom. I'd go with row 1.

I’ve flown JQ’s 787 many times in their J class.

It’s actually a very good product on-board. Seat wise is more like Qantas 737 J class. Service wise it’s about the best LCC product there is.

As for which row? I’m tall and find row 1 OK for day flights but the leg room for stretching out is not good enough for me, so I avoid it for overnight flights.

The other rows do suffer when the seat in front reclines. But there is more possibility to stretch your legs.
