I'm travelling a lot more next year, so to give Mrs Here2go a hand with the children, we're getting an au pair, who will be assisting with driving the car

Living in the NT, we're AANT members, which like Tasmania, has the membership attached to the driver, not the car. This hasn't been an issue up until now as we are getting the au pair.

I was wondering if people on this forum have been in this situation, and whether they have had to take out AANT/RACT membership (or RAA-SA in the old days) for their au pair, or should their French membership cover them for the six-months they are in the country?

Of course, the alternative is that I just move the membership back to NRMA, which has a much better magazine, and the car is covered.

Your thoughts and advice are much appreciated. Merci in advance!
