Apparently this will be on an individual fee basis, not the usual express lanes for business and first class passengers.
Would be great if they could actually have normal premium lanes operating at airports such as Perth first!

You don't have to be "rich", just willing to pay the fee.

Note that for some tickets/packages this may well be included.

Classic "user-pays" system. Nothing wrong IMHO.

I avoid entire countries because of rubbish (ie under-funded) immigration.

I like the suggestion of a separate terminal, like that is ever going to happen in Australia...

To make this work the airlines would have to ensure priority baggage comes off first. Otherwise it's just a case of getting to the next choke point more quickly.

Rich people fly privately and already use the General Aviation area. No queues there!
