REx decides not to stop at Monkey Mia stranding passengers

REx had a regular stop at Monkey Mia from Perth to Carnarvon but decided not to do so today with no explanation. Stranded 9 passengers (which would be a fair % of pax on board) and told them to find their own way from Carnarvon. One family even gave a lift for a couple of the stranded folk.

This is so poor, especially at a time when there have been calls for increased consumer protection in aviation.

It was only drawn to my attention today, from a friend in the West, so I may pop it into the delays/cancellations thread.

At least with rail operators in Oz you'd get a replacement road coach.

Shocking that ZL didn't even arrange one. Having to drive 350 kilometres (and back) is time consuming, and expensive.
