Getting as prepared as possible ready to book my first set of international reward seats with Qantas.
- Looking to get 6 x economy reward seats going Helsinki-Singapore-Perth approx 7 Jan '25
- Have been playing around with the multi-city tool to practise booking the flights, and seem to have general 'pretend' success getting Finnair flights from Helsinki-Singapore, and then either Jetstar or Qantas to Perth, for approx 350,000 points in total, and about $1,200 in taxes. I go all the way to the end of the booking process before actually having to press book and I feel confident I will know how to do it when my dates open.

My query is - I go in every couple of days to practise, thinking that the 297 days out will open up a new booking date each day, so I can practise getting in as soon as the 7th Jan opens up? What day should I be ready to book to try and get the reward seats around 7th Jan? I can't book until mid-march right? Yet I can technically already book 31st Dec which is only one week before my dates?

Always appreciate the guidance thanks :)

AFAIK, AY opens Awards 361 days ahead; QF 353 days ahead.
