Review : Noise Hush i7 Headphones.

Just purchased 2 sets as the Sony sets did not cover the ears well . The head sets I find work well but the adaptor to allow input into the arm rests (in Cattle class) is not robust. On a trip out to UK in April aboard A380 , a wriggle and consequent nudge cracked the joint and sound became intermittent. I managed a quick fix but on examining the adaptor on arrival , it is cheap rubbish.
I bought 2 replacements online at $2.50 each which seem to be exactly the same. The adaptors that came with the Sony were/are much more robust . I am sure that it is possible to make/source and supply adaptors with a flatter profile.

BTW I am not a fatty .

Also makes me wonder about the placement of the sockets in the arm rests . seems STUPID in the extreme to have a socket on the inside of the armrest taking up real estate. I am sure on other planes there was/is sockets at the head of the arm rests or better yet maybe if located closer to the hinge
Airlines?

I agree, I think their placement is paid for by the people who make the adapters, which strangely don't sell for $2.50 at airports! I have had a few break incl my Bose one, so I now pack a spare

So I ordered 2 of these yesterday and they arrived today.

I gave 1 set to the the boss/old man as a birthday present. He is currently sitting in the office sitting there with them on. I went in to ask a question and received no response, suffice to say the noise cancellation is working properly. :D He's off to CAN on Monday so will give it a good shot then as well.

So just over 12 months on and I've gone to use my headphones... and there the connector in the bottom is loose and therefore sound is intermittent/dropping out. :(

Up until this they've been great!!

p/s I used mine for a Knee Replace, Hip Replace, both while I was awake and a trip overseas and I can really recommend them having used them in trying conditions.

Only 12 months and 2 months past that. Bugger.

I would still try as they may feel sorry for you. Despite the fact a product has a warranty this product should last longer than 12 months. My Hush i7's are also broken but I did that because of my impatience when trying to plug them in in the dark.

I emailed the store/admin and that's what I got. I was glowing about these but now not so much...

I googled " headphone adaptors for airlines ". Plenty of sources.. Plenty cheap..even bose supply them . Also available from Dick Smith at almost $8.
