Hi All,

I've tried calling VA Velocity three times and have had 3 different responses...

My review date for Gold is 11th March 2019 (Today) and then my card expiry is 11th April 2019

I need 115 Status points to retain Gold i assume by 11th March.

In between 11th March & 11th April i will accrue 180 status points.

I was wondering what this would do for me if anything? Does VA give a grace period to accrue further points between review and expiry or would i start from zero again?

If you do not earn the appropriate number of SC by your review date (400SC by today in your case), you will drop back to PS. I do not believe that VFF will take into account any SC earned past your review date, particularly as you are a long way from requalifying (>25%).

However, as VFF use a rolling 12 month qualification system, as soon as you earn 500SC in ANY rolling year, you will immediately earn SG again.

For example, lets assume that you did not earn any SC between 11 March 2018 and 30 April 2018 (so you earned 285SC between 01 May 2018 and 11 March 2019). If you were to earn an additional 215SC between now and 30 April 2019, you would have accrued 500SC within a rolling year and would earn SG again.

It would be awesome if you could come back after a month and update us on what transpired. This sort of information is always appreciated and it helps others' understand the Velocity program better.
