Hi all,

I am due to go to Launceston in December for my graduation (postgrad- only taken 4 years)

Depending on which page of the website, one/all of my flights have been cancelled- this appears to relate to a specific issue with the NT not reopening to Vic and thus JQ reducing their schedules on the Melbourne route

I have found an alternative series of flights via Brisbane- however I don't appear to be able to contact Jetstar via chat or phone (only interested in people with flights in the next 48 hours)

I'd rather not take a credit voucher and rebook purely due to the time delay for issue (at least 14 days apparently?)
Can they reconfirm me onto my proposed alternative?

Booked flights
JQ 677 DRW-MEL 8/12
JQ 737 MEL-LST 8/12
JQ740 LST-MEL 14/12
JQ 678 MEL-DRW 14/12

I would just go ahead and try and speak to someone - the longer you leave it the worse chance of securing the alternative flights you want. If they say something about whether you are travelling n the next 48 hours just pretend you didn't hear that bit! :)

Would appear JQ HAVE CANCELLED considerable flights around the place. My mother had a Adelaide Perth flight go West

I’m wondering if this is to do with re-bookings or international openings or ?

After waiting around on the phone for hours today, I decided to just go for it and take the voucher (not like I don’t fly with them often enough that I can use them up later). Have now been sent a bizarre email rebooking me on
JQ 677 DRW-MEL 8/12
JQ 737 MEL-LST 8/12
Despite them showing on the itinerary as cancelled. The voucher value ($454) also feels suspiciously close to the total amount paid for the return journey

So I guess je suis confused and I’ll just wait a few days for some kind of clarity?!

Also this follow up email- no flights now associated with the booking reference?!
