Disappointing. I clicked that link thinking "This is for me!" but if you are talking about 'disconnected' there are any number of these places here in Australia. Including most highways here in Tasmania. :)

Canyonlands, NP, Utah???

OMG - nothing difficult about getting to Mongolia - 2 flts daily out of PEK - been there done that - piece of cake.

I understand that but it's still not difficult to get there and never could be considered difficult - direct daily flights with 2 carriers - who would ever consider that difficult?

Mongolian Airlines route map - dozens of flights in and out each day by multiple carriers.

I have aver only flown CA into / out of ÜB.

It can be hard to disconnect. I was surprised that there was mobile coverage from the top of Uluru. I never did tell my staff back at the office and officially stayed off the grid while touring.

Business - but I do so want to go back there - certainly the wild west - oh so basic but just lovely people.
