Release of 1000 Biz Rewards seats to Paris ( and more)

I wonder if its because Paris isn't as high on travellers list these days. I know personally I have little desire to visit - well i wouldn't mind a croissant or two there, but I'd rather go to other parts of France.

I think maybe FCO should go yearly and CDG seasonal? I've heard they are looking at that.
Agree. In the past 2 years I've done Perth to London, Rome and Paris, and only the Paris flight was half-full, the other 2 were chockers. Given the stronger cultural ties between Italy and Australia compared to France I'd have thought it makes more sense for year-round flights to FCO.

I would agree with you. As someone who grew up in the UK and spent many family holidays in the South of France, I don't like Paris (or Northern France) all that much.

If faced with the choice between Rome and Paris, I'd go for Rome every time. As I get older, I find I much prefer Italy to France. But, YMMV.

I didn’t look too hard but I couldn’t see any J CR seats for next year (but I was looking during peak time).

OT: Curiously, I did stumble across 2x EK J CRs late next year - contrary to the theme in the EK awards (gone MIA) thread…🤷‍♂️

The QF bulk release is Feb and March. There were a few out of PER and SYD, none out of MEL (at least not forcing a multicity connection).

I flew to CDG earlier this year, got the TGV immediately to Lille. No need to stop in Paris with the train connections.
I actually think this might be a good option to connect to Eurostar to get to London.

They’re running a Qantas wine voucher promo for Paris at the moment. I wonder if loads aren’t good…?
might need to track this down... There is the annual Champagne promo...

It's lovely at Christmas time.

I was pondering something similar.

I have no desperate need to visit Paris again. I worked for a French company, so plenty of visits under my belt plus holiday visits. But using it as a stepping stone to elsewhere is something to consider.

Besides the south of France - which is generally nice.
