Recently I took the SIN-MNL using 777-200 refurbished aircraft with the fully flat super wide SQ J seats.

It took me a while to notice the subtle changes with the seat which provide more leg room for the tall guys like me. On this aircraft they have modified the design of the compartment next to the wall to provide more usable space. When the seat is brought forward and turned into the fully flat bed, at 186cm length, i actually have clearance in the sleeping position.

Please share experiences like this?

This picture of the IFE flight path has to be one of the most common that I have seen coming into Manila. Everything looking good to arrive 10 minutes early and then enter the holding pattern instead of finals.

In the end, we were on the ground only about 5 minutes late, just enough time to wait the 25 minutes for luggage.

Is that a bulkhead seat?

Have flown the refurb 777-200 non-bulk head. Seat same as the A380... In sufficient length.

This looks like a normal non bulkhead seat to me.

The main difference between this and the A380 config is the additional storage cabinet available on the 380.

Mine was a non-bulkhead seat. I felt that they had made better use of the area on the side of the seat, Reduced storage and allowed more leg room.

When I look at this picture from the web, the side is the way i recall it on A380.

What are they doing running a refurbed aircraft on that route? I thought that route had the oldest product possible?
