I cancelled some flights on 10 February because of the brief WA lockdown.
At the time I was told the refund would take 8-10 weeks.
I wasn't happy as this was a business class fare and I was entitled to a full refund regardless of COVID or any other circumstances.
But I swallowed my objections because there was no point in making a fuss. I knew it wouldn't change anything.
After 10 weeks I called them today.
Apparently they do not automatically process the refund after 8-10 weeks.
After 8 weeks you can call and ask them to process the refund.
They are processing mine as I type this post.
I coud have requested it two weeks ago.
I thought this might be useful info for anyone patiently waiting for a refund.
Don't wait patiently for 10 weeks!
