Redeeming HSBC Reward Plus points

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience redeeming HSBC Reward Plus points (Premier MC) to Krisflyer (or Asiamiles for that matter). I put in the request online few days ago but it never asked for my Krisflyer number :confused: (it just confirms and shows my points has been deducted). Tried calling twice but the it automatically hangs up every time chose to talk to an operator... so far I'm not impressed with the service...

Anyone has done this before? How did you do it and how long did it take?
