Redeeming Etihad Guest miles for Garuda flights

I recently wanted to use my Etihad Guest miles to book a Garuda flight within Asia.

I went onto the Delta website and found O class (Business award) availability on a suitable Garuda flight. But when I called Etihad to book, the lady on the phone couldn't see any availability on that flight - nor on any of the other flights that day which the Delta website also showed had award availability in both Economy & Business.

I confirmed with the agent that she was looking for O class availability on the correct route/date, which she was.

She did see a Business seat on the same flight I wanted but on a different date (which unfortunately doesn't work for me), so it does seem that there is at least some possibility to redeem Etihad Guest miles on Garuda. But availability does not seem plentiful and unless I'm missing something, the only way to find out what's actually available is to call Etihad as they seem to get access to only a sub-set of availability.

Has anyone successfully redeemed Etihad Guest miles for a Garuda flight?
