Redeeming AA points for QF flights - how?

I saw the excellent article quoting David about using AA codeshares for points.

How, though, do I then redeem those, say for QF or other AA partners? Nothing leapt out from AA's site about it.

To book a partner aaward you need to call AA - it cant be done online.

Are you asking about the method of booking or about the awards themselves?

Regarding the booking of awards, as Simon mentions, these cannot be booked online but need to be done by telephone

To see the cost of award redemption on the AA scheme, these are detailed on the AA site.
