Been eating here since it opened several years ago - the Chef REALLY knows how to cook a steak – meat will be cooked EXACTLY as requested.
Ate here last night and had a Porterhouse which I had not tried before in this restaurant – usually stick to Scotch Fillet – P/house was PERFECT. Cruiserette had Eye Fillet – melt in your mouth.
FWIW currently they are using meat sourced from Cape Grimm (Greenhams) in Tassie. My background is meat and livestock – formerly owned an export abattoir – steak at Red OX equal to Vlados (IMHO) but at half price – BYO wine – wine list quite skinny.
