Dear Forum,
Looking to do this holiday or similar. Sydney to Los Angeles to Hawaii to Sydney.
Thinking of flying one world and business class. Happy to change to other airlines if better flights etc.
Any tips for flights ? Anything glaringly in error here ?
Also, how can I book this flight for some passengers in business and some in economy ? Separate bookings ? Flight agent?

Wild & Crazy Thought … and you may not want to spend the extra time in the air … but maybe someone on here could comment on whether a “Circle Pacific” fare might work? A workmate used to use them to get to the west coast of the USA in J a lot more cheaply than a simple return (but he has mates in various SE Asian cities so a couple-day stopover in various places like HK or Bangkok worked well for him).

Also numerous flight-search sites like Kayak or Skyscanner let you do multi-city and you can limit to One World only (noting that once you’ve found a flight it’s often cheaper to go straight to the airline PLUS I’m not convinced that all code-share flights are always included - eg. I’ve seen a QF flight-number on CX metal which wouldn’t appear on Skyscanner, and it occurred to me that buying tickets through the same airline the whole way might make any possible problems more-avoidable).

Yeah I agree a Circle Pacific using either one world or star alliance. Minimum 2 stops with one world and 3 star alliance. Minimum stay 5 days one wld and nil on star. Bus fare around 10k

Will have to be separate booking bus and Econ. A good tvl agent will be able to co-ordinate this
