Recent experiences with flydubai ?

Old thread with this topic is closed ... so has anyone flown wit flydubai recently and if so, how was it? They give me a direct flight to Tbilisi rather than a more expensive connection with QR. Yeah, I know why fly direct ... etc .. but points and SCs not part of the equation this time.

Just bumping this thread to see if anyone has any comments about Flydubai.

I am now ticketed with them, so hopefully OK :)

A good friend of mine had a terrible experience with them flying with them from Ethiopia where his flight was cancelled with no notice. Hence on my upcoming trip to Tbilisi we went Qatar after he refused to fly them. That said another friend had a flawless experience with them to and from Iran earlier this year. Fingers crossed for you RooFlyer!
 
cannot help but have considered them - please let us know how it goes....

Arrgh! Sorry I asked :) . Mind you, the only airline that's treated me like that was LH, so yes, cross fingers. (and I have built in a days padding at the Tbilisi end, just in case).
 
My experience with flydubai is noted here.

Basically no worries, but as we know from Jetstar, it can be great until there is a cancellation ...
