Receipt Rewards

This.

People will walk into the attached woolworths liquor on the way out from the supermarket, ask the staff what this free bottle of wine is, then spend $20 that they wouldn't have ordinarily spent to 'get something for free'.

I work for woolworths liquor and saw this exact behaviour in action last week.

Exactly, it will increase spending and will work well, but doesn't help us on here who mainly just want Qantas bonus points!

Wow, that was a quick pick up there rainbowgirl! I will explain a little bit more about the purpose of the program for everyone

From the 28th of November 2012 Woolworths Supermarkets will be trialling a 'Receipt Rewards' Program in conjunction with BWS and Woolworths Liquor Stores.

This will mean that supermarket shoppers will be 'rewarded' with with a liquor voucher at the bottom of their shopping receipt. These vouchers can be redeemed at BWS and Woolworths Liquor stores, with each receipt containing a barcode which will trigger a special offer for customers.

There is no minimum spend limit at the supermarket to get this offer, however, coupons will not be issued for Tobacco products purchased.

If you don't require a receipt, you will still receive a docket containing only the coupon.

The program will run from the 28th of November until the end of the trial period on January 16th 2013.

If you have any questions about the program please speak to staff at the service desk of your local store or leave a message in this thread and I will try my best to answer them for you :)

This won't be a particularly effective promo in Tassie where there is still no Matua stock as at 11 Dec. A negative incentive really.

Has Coles got any Banrock Station Moscato for their 40% off docket deal (good to see the labels being promoted vs house brands BTW)!

No Coles Liquor outlets in Tassie. Docket deals wouldn't do us any good

I've heard that there are some new receipt rewards out there from different WW partners.

BWS and Caltex/Woolworths have had offers on the bottom of receipts lately for Masters and possibly other partners. At the moment I have only heard of discounts and $off offers but they might throw in bonus points offers so keep checking all of your EDR receipts for extra offers.

There are more Master's dockets at the bottom of Woolworths receipts at the moment. I think the latest deal is 10% discount but I can't remember the expiry date.

Bws beer offer. $10 off a slab of Hahn Superdry or Heineken OR six pack of Hahn Superdry or Heineken for $10.
