Reassessment Date

Hi all,

I'm currently Gold and my reassessment was due on 31st May. I currently need 70SC to retain it. However, when checking my account today it now says reassessment is on 31st May 2015 instead of 2014 and the line where it said how many SC I needed before 31st May 2014 to retain Gold has disappeared (see below). Does this mean I've been given Gold for another year??

Though I'd still try to get those last few SC before the end of the current membership year if possible. There might be a time when you really need a comped status and QF aren't known for giving them out repeatedly.

I just checked by QFF summary, and I think it is the same situation as Whitnass (reassessment also on 31 May). I have forward bookings till the end of 2014 that would have allowed me to re-qualify anyway (about 300,000 points on mASAs plus some work-related bookings).

Maybe I should cancel the mASAs and use the points for upgrades or Classic Awards?

Wife and I have PS extended through to 31 July 2015. Hardly big QF flyers with 360 current SC's and a life total of 555 with no forward bookings.

Its because you qualified and not comp.

Good point, I think I'll have enough bookings to hit 600 by end of this month. Have a MEL-AKL return for this weekend and MEL-San Diego return before 31st May. Thanks for the tip.

Mrs subharpoon has also been comped to Silver for another year. 100 Status Credits earned during current year.

NRA straitman was not comped and is now Gold. Not really surprising as she earned ZERO SC in the last 12 months.

She does actually have a whole host of future bookings though many are AA or QF classic awards.
