We have just arrived home , completing a very pleasant six week holiday.
The final instalment involved a long day culminating in a pretty ordinary 6 hour internment in the lax4 aa lounge.
( This is disgraceful worn tired overused cattle class lounge and a major fail that the roo needs to address)
Loading was delayed and we were pretty tired and cranky by the time we boarded.
Climbing the stairs to our favoured cabin , we found a spacious new layout that at least equalled our 777 rides with Emirates.
I won't labour with detail , save to say that the food and the service was very very good .
Turndown service was great, and I have even kept my "roo jammies" as a sign of roo loyalty.
Compared to our last long haul with the roo a few years back , this was a chalk and cheese performance.
Well done Qantas.. keep it up.
