Hi

I am investigating the possibility of a trip to Germany next year using my frequent flyer points.
I noted in the following article that various airlines have rail/fly agreements with Deutsche Bahn. It would be very handy if I could fly in and out of Germany and somehow also get some rail tickets included.

Free German Train Connections to the Airport with Rail&Fly

Has anyone here successfully redeemed Qantas points for a flight to or from Germany and somehow gotten a rail trip included? I tried the booking engine without success but the article says that some airlines allow the use of frequent flyer points to get flights + rail so maybe someone has redeemed Qantas points for another airline like JAL and had some success?

Thanks Peter
