This pic was taken after we ate at Raffles one night - we proceeded to have a couple game billiards then I spotted the cigars - so Cruiserette volunteered to buy me a cigar and a glass of Bolly Rose to top the night off - bill came at it was S$110 for those 2 items only - the look on the Ette's face when she saw the bill was priceless. I did get a second top up of the Bolly Rose for nix but still kinda pricey huh?

Satay and Singapore Slings in the Long Bar and shells on the floor. For some reason this didn't make my trip report!

AT $1240 per night with breakfast included its completely out of my price range. :shock:

Wow that's expensive. I thought around $400-$500/night. Boy was I way off the mark.

I'd want at least 15 nights accommodation for that sort of money. :mrgreen:

Just get the poverty pack and get room only without breakfast for $1000 per night.
And they don't do $999.99 . Any hotel who happily does a nice fat round figure of $1000 is seriously upperclass.

Just looked at a day we're in Singapore next year and they want $900 for the base room. That's up from $770 a couple months ago.

They do have various offers - the one we used had 20% off for 2 nights and 25% off for 3 nights. It was prepaid and non-cancellable. Instead of saving the money, it enabled us to book personality suites, rather the base one.

Would be nice to do a trio of High Tea at Raffles, Queen Mary2 and Burj al Arab in April hey love_the_life? Nice trifecta there.

I really enjoy the Indian buffet in the Tiffin Room at Raffles. The white-gloved waiters who carry your plate(s) to the table with your choices are worth the fact that it costs about 3-4 times more than the same food would cost in less swanky surroundings in Little India

I thought they were looking a strange . I am not doing anything different - just reply with quote, type some text and this is what it does.

I am using an ipad with chrome, so who knows - used to work.....
