It does include entry to the air show, so knock $20 off that. Still a bit pricey, but it would be kinda fun... :P

In a dash 8 for 10 minutes????

Imagine how many takers they would get if the Buff was on offer for a joy ride!

So who went, did you enjoy it, and how was the traffic?

I went, it was awesome, the traffic was not too bad going in and totally horrendous on the way out. Next time I'm taking the shuttle flight or the TransPerth bus.
One slightly weird disappointment though was the B-52. I was expecting a static display, however it turns out that it's too wide to land at Pearce. So it flew all the way down from Guam to overfly the airfield twice then turn around and fly all the way back to Guam. I'm guessing this was repeated on Sunday as well.

I have seen this sort of thing before. They B52s are flown by reservists and these trips are used as part of their training.

We had the same for a small Airshow at Bairnsdale a couple of years ago.
