I am 2700 miles short to book my ticket. I am trying to avoid buying miles on Qantas website. Is there any quick way of earning this amount ? I am not Australian citizen though and I do not live in Australia either and also could someone tell me how much would be airport and fuel surcharges for the ticket between NAN-HNL FJ one way . According to IATA matrix it should be around 167 AUD.

I just went on to the Fiji Airways site - the one way fare NAN-HNL for a random date in November is showing as AUD748, of which AUD195 is taxes fees and charges.

However, the taxes fees and charges by themselves won't earn you any points.

Buying the top-up points on the QF website (3000 of them) will cost AUD112.

Have a 'relative' gift some points maybe one option.

What has been your primary means of earning QF points?

Not sure I'm aware of any quick way to get 2700 that costs less than $112.50.

Taxes came up as 257.80 FJD

Thank you for your swift replay. I am based in Europe and I guess QF card is not an option. I am planning RTW and none of my relatives has qantas account. It is kinda hard to get them here. Kind of like getting Avios (BA) i Australia. I got my QF miles from few flights I had in the past. I got plenty of avios points but they are not any good on this route...although using them QF is very good deal.

Not sure how the Fiji Airways will assist you?

Unfortunately without much information of what you're trying to achieve it's a bit confusing. Have you already exceeded your QF point purchase limit?

No I have not I just don't want to pay $112.50 for 3k QF if I do not have to. I was hopping to use 'Points Plus Pay' option but looks like NAN is not even available in their search engine. I thought this might be a better deal but is not available.
@MEL_Traveller ther is nothing to do with FJ as I want to be this award ticket using QF miles.

Oh! I see. My bad! I misread that the two were related. I see now they are separate. That makes sense.

Yeah - I think the $112 top-up is a pretty cheap and quick way of accruing the points you'd need.

Well I guess I do not have a choice. btw I am new here , but I am not new elsewhere is there any section here related to FD ?

You could by some wine on cellar masters and I would be happy to take delivery for you :)
