I made a booking today for June 2010, from SYD-LAX and in July LAX-SYD using the QF Book now, pay later option for Y+ both ways, however on my confirmation it shows at Premium Economy with a booking class of R (rather than the W/T or PE), now looking at
https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/classTypes , R class is listed as First Class.
I assume just a SNAFU in the system, unless I have found a way to travel QF first class on a PE price.

Funny you mention this, recently I also booked a SYD-SIN using book now pay later. I got an itinery sent to my email and it says 'First Confirmed'.
However on the booking on the internet it says (R) Premium Economy.

I thought I had been upgraded, but not :(
