Hi all

Simple enough question. Can one redeem points for a trip on SkyBus from tullamarine to southern Cross station?

Thanks Peter

That's really strange them that both Qantas and Virgin don't have this redemption option given that they are both in the travel business and this is one of the ways people get to and from the airport.

I am not aware of any way of doing this. You can collect 100 virgin velocity points when you buy a ticket.

On one occasion back in February, Skybus gave me 500 Virgin points for one single adult ticket.
I'm doing another single ticket this Friday on skybus will report back if the points that are credited has changed back to 100.

A return trip is 250 points, and a one way trip is 100 points. There was a double points offer early in the year.

You sure it wasn't a return? When they launched they were offering double points. I got 500 for my return ticket.
It looks to be back to 100 for a single now: https://www.skybus.com.au/offers/velocity

Interestingly the TandC now say points can't be earned in conjunction with any other discounts or offers. (I used a discount code in February from Gold Member and was awarded points)
