I've long been just a Qatar Privilege Club Burgundy (lowest tier) member, but have just been notified that I'm now silver 🥂 🎉 - but I have no idea why.

I have zero Qpoints, but I've recently joined my account to BA so my BA avios show under QR and I've also recently booked a decent QR flight in J/F (but hadn't paid when the Silver appeared).

My up-coming flights will qualify me for Silver from Burgundy (maybe to Gold, depending on how they treat putting me in the F cabin in lieu of no J on DOH-CAI-DOH), but I can't imagine an 'advance' :) .

I'm not complaining, but any suggestions ? :) Maybe they KWIA? 🤣
