As a left field alternative, have you looked at Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan? Alaska partners with Emirates and is in Oneworld, so also partners with Qatar Airways. Although, I think you would need to do some actual flying on Alaska to make the most of Alaska status.
EK is no longer an AS ff partner.
"Our partnership with Emirates ended on July 31, 2021."

AS is a good ffp, but has a very limited prescriptive award chart.

With BA the 2/4 flights can be on BA and IB. The FT BA avios wiki has a good description the detailed BAEC rules

Depends what your objective is from a ffp.

EZ and family pooling is not bad for FF flights on EK or upgrades on EK and there are usually point upgrades available (IME). But one thing to note, using EK points for QF flights costs more points than it does for QF on QFF points. Obvious I suppose.

For example, we have 270K EK points expirings next year and won't be able to use them for EK so rather than let them go to waste I'm considering them for BNE-PER J x 2 at a cost of 208K (+$184). On QF it's 166K (+$183).

If you do a lot of flying on EK then Skywards makes sense for upgrades and FF fights but it's difficult to earn Skywards points in other ways than flying. While it's very easy to earn QF points.
