Flying BRU - DOH in J but can't find any info about QR lounge access in BRU on either the QR or BRU Airport's websites. Can anyone enlighten me?

The Oneworld website lists four lounges and which lounge each airline PAX can use. QR is not listed. But I would expect it will be one of the lounges servicing non-Schengen carriers ie BA or CX. An old thread on FlyerTalk mentions BA.

Curious to know how you go. I’ve pondered departing BRU to avoid the UK departure tax.

Yes, plenty of options for that such as NCE, ARN, CPH and a few others as well as BRU to fly QR to DOH and connect home to Oz, but I picked BRU to avoid the long transit times some have in DOH. QR being QR, I was surprised that their website has no mention of lounge access out of BRU.

Not flying that sector till Sept 20th, so if I remember, I'll report back on how we went.

AMS is usually my first thought (since it’s easy to get to - as is BRU) but QR probably just use the poky BA lounge there. EY at least used the KLM lounge last time I flew out with them.

My one and only QR departure from CPH was disappointing. No pre-departure bubbles. Claimed it was CPH thing….

oh, I just remembered that I peaked too soon and left the lounge too early in CPH (don’t recall which one) and found myself in the non-Schengen departure area where there was absolutely nothing except gates and a few seats….

Premature (self) ejection?
