QR expects to receive the A350 early - do you agree.

Given the problems experienced by pretty much all new types across a variety of manufacturers, would you say this overoptimistic?

Feb 12 (Reuters) - Qatar Airways, the launch customer for the Airbus A350, expects to receive its first aircraft ahead of scheduled delivery in December 2014, the company's chief executive said on Wednesday.
"They (Airbus) are well ahead of the test schedule," said Akbar Al Baker at the Singapore Airshow, adding that the aircraft could arrive a month or two earlier.

Maybe they will receive it early... that doesn't mean that everything will go without a hitch after that though

Knowing how strict Al Baker is, Airbus will want to make sure everything is 100% perfect before handing over a plane to QR. Especially with his well documented displeasure with Boeing over the 787.
