QF fleet ops is both interesting yet at the same time often confusing.QF74 SFO-SYD is a 3 class plane. SYD-MEL 2 class.
QF73 MEL-SYD is a 2 class plane. SYD-SFO 3 class.

It would be interesting to know why QF decided to use the QF73/74 numbers for the MEL-SYD and SYD-MEL flights and not just to continue the QF5/6 or QF25/26.
