QP access with JQ BP SMS

If you show up to a QP with a QP/SG/WP card and a JQ sms boarding pass, will that be sufficient for entry?

I'm assuming this is no different to checking a hardcopy pass as neither show QF status and, in any case, a QP card would just be compared against the name. (Having said that, I can't remember if the sms even shows your name but I assume that it must).

I don't see why not.

Worse case scenario is they check to see if you are indeed on a JQ flight that day.

We had no problems recently at Sydney Terminal 2 accessing the QP with a Jetstar sms boarding pass; however I did have my QP card with me which got swiped as we entered the lounge. As an aside, I'm not sure what the point of the sms boarding pass is, we still had to print a boarding ticket at the gate before getting on the plane.
