I was on a flight that returned to BNE after circling GLT for an hour today. The CSA at the arrival gate announced a rebooking, credit or refund option. The refund offer was confirmed by Cityflyer desk staff after my replacement flight also got cancelled. When speaking to phone res staff, they were holding firm to he above waiver conditions. A chat by me with the supervisor soon changed that. The supervisor al rang the BNE duty manager to clarify. QF's handling of the whole wet weather scenario was reassuring and professional.

Great to see QF have double the normal number of flights for tomorrow, Saturday, trying to move the backlog.
