G´day people,

Having seen some of the wild expectations that are held by some of us, I thought it mght be informative for me to show my recent experience with QF. The following is a summary of my flights from Colombia to Australia and back again. Due to being booked from Sth America, the long haul legs with Qantas are actually ticketed as LAN codeshares. But the main point is that every single booking had my QFF number input from the start. I got the double SC inviite, which I subscribed to AFTER booking, but prior to travel of, these flights. So as at today, 12th June, this is where I am at:

Initial comments are:

1.- The QF codes/metal flights usually credit within 1 or 2 days.
2.- The double SC promotion usually lags 2 to 4 days after crediting of the initial SC.
3.- LAN codeshares take ages.

I have already requalified for WP so am not particularly interested in chasing the LAN flights too hard, but if I dont get them credited within a few weeks will try the ¨claim missing points¨ thing.

Anyway, just thought I might post this as these real life details might guide/assist others.

Cheers,
Juddles.

I know this is an oldie however did you ever get credited points/SC's for your MDE-BOG legs (presumably LAN Colombia metal)?

I recently flew GRU-BOG-BAQ-BOG-GRU all on Lan Colombia metal but I anticipated I would recieve QFF points/SC's as they were ticketed as a LAN codeshare (Flight prefix "LA").

This was QFF response email:

Eligible flights with LAN must be operated by LAN, LAN Express, LAN Peru, LAN Ecuador, LAN Argentina or a oneworld partner airline. The flights in question were operated by LAN Columbia and therefore ineligible to earn points.
I presumed I would be entitled to points as it was ticketed as an 'LA' flight? am I off the mark?
