QFF points CZ qantas codeshare flight

I am a qantas frequent flyer member, recently (Last Month) I travelled return with China Southern airlines form Perth to Guangzhou and onwards to Harbin. My flights were booked through China Southern airlines. The flights to and from perth/guangzhou had qantas codeshare flight numbers (qf336 and qf335). I was hoping to claim qantas frequrnt flyer points for my travel on these flights but it keeps rejecting when i try to claim the flights.

Could some one explain why this may be? Does a codeshare flight qualify for points redemption?

You booked direct with China Southern Airlines you were booked into their flight number and not the Qantas codeshare number as you didn't book via qantas or a TA who probably wouldn't have even asked which flight number you wanted.

You say that you booked through CZ. You need to actually be on the QF code in this case.
