Re: LOUNGE FEEDBACK HONG KONG, HEATHROW T5, NICE - FRANCE

If you've a really long transit, I'd serious consider going landside, e.g., out of the airport. Since you want to experience the Arrivals Lounge, and depending on the arrival time, you may as well go to the city or go to the big Budda... If you're lucky, you may even get some fresh air in HK... You may want to look into if they still have cheap same-day return tickets for the Airport Express.

I would definitely agree. HK is very efficient with transfers, check-ins etc at Central Station and there is a cheaper return ticket for same day travel (but that's a calendar day, not 24hrs). We had a 23hr transit (so we didn't have to pay for a stopover) on new years eve - we headed into town and just hung out through the night and then got the first train out to the airport.

Even heading in for a few hours walk and food is worth the airport express cost.
