Have a domestic flight booked with two legs on points.

The booking is for J, but one of the legs is flown on economy as no J avaiable. The number of points for the redemption is exactly the same as if both flights were in J.

The fair rules for both flight say Business (U).

I was wondering if lounge access is granted with the Y flight?

Technically no lounge access

That would be annoying as one paid for J. Just another reason not to book any mixed redemptions on QF.

Probably all part of the fairer flying  ... (yes, I know, probably booked before etc etc) ....

Regards,

BD
