QFF hotel award bookings refund

Due to the latest COVID restrictions in NSW, a friend has had to cancel accommodation made using (133k) QFF points. I can only find a reference to ‘if a member is eligible for a refund’ but that’s it. Nothing in QF’s COVID response headers on their website. I’ve searched AFF and can’t find any previous discussion about this. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks

ARe you cancelling within your hotels cancellation policy? If so problem solved, just cancel online. If not, unclear, might need to call Qantas.
 
The cancellation policy is determined by the hotel / property and room rate. You need to check the reservation. The cancellation policy will be spelled out there.
