Hi all,

I have an award booking for the end of August, MEL>KUL>DOH on MH in J.

MH cancelled the KUL>DOH flight as they dropped to one service to DOH per day. Spoke with Qantas who requested some slightly different flights from MEL (same route) basically changing time/day slightly. MH accepted and flights appear in my booking I just need to accept the change.

However I also need to add an infant to the booking. Should I accept the change and secure that ticket then add the infant later? Or should I ring them now tell them I accept the change and also want to add an infant at the same time?

Just want to limit the chance of the inept call centre stuffing the booking up, have had a few horrible experiences with flight changes. Any benefit doing it one way or the other? They might waive the change fee if doing it all at the same time?

Thanks

Thanks that’s the way I was leaning too.

I think I’ll call and insist to stay on the line while they ticket it. Don’t want the MH flights to drop off after 24hrs as has happened to me twice before due to Qantas taking their time to reticket.
