Any one know what happened, the flight QF94 left LAX 5 or 6 hours late and went to Brisbane instead of Melb and arrived Melbourne about 5pm (usually about 10am)
Just wondering as will be on it next month.

The reason for the BNE stop was a crew change as a result of the late departure.

This is VH-OQF operating QF94 just prior to landing on RW01 local time in BNE at approximately 1230 AEST.

Thanks for that and what a logistic nightmare that must be.

QF have staff on a blank line meaning they are on standby for that type OP scenario, and they would have had plenty of time to get them on a BNE bound plane. I would imagine it would be more of a hassle going to an Airport where there is no QF presence.
