QF9/10 to return to PER earlier - from 23rd May

I booked PER-MEL-PER flights for the beginning of December and deliberately chose QF9 in J for the experience. "Trying before buying" as not every report of the seats and long flight is good.

They're exactly the same seats as J on the A330 internional fleet (or same as the domestic ones but with cloth instead of leather) and that the divider in the middle pair retracts. I just assumed you've been on those?

Yes, I have, thanks. It is the economy seats that I read so many gripes about.

Next question: do domestic travellers get to use the Melbourne F lounge?

I've done PER - LHR return in the Y seats. Can't say I found them any better or worse than other Y seats. Y for 17 hours sucks. End of story.

Sure do! ;)

A pax I know who is booked on ADL DRW LHR in W in early June has received her new itinerary from QF.

She is now routed ADL DRW PER LHR, with the departure ex PER being before the arrival into PER 😲🙄.

So now she needs to play telephone roulette with QF to get it changed.
