Sunday departure went via AKL, not unusual. But then significant delay ex-BNE. Any knowledge as to the reason? Crew hours exhausted?

Thanks

I spotted that go overhead not long ago, I thought it had be a positioning flight being that late.

Flight aware says it left Auckland at 3pm, delay in AKL perhaps (makes crew hours plausible).

Saturday's flight (as of Fri morning) was due to leave BNE at 10:30 rather than 7:45, causing a number of Qld AFFers to change travle plans and not travle to SYD via 747 before travelling to MEL for the Xmas do.

Maybe the Sat delays had a flow on effect for Sun? Not really sure that makes sense , though.
