Some interesting posts when this started with one persons bad manners. I hate to say this, but not really off topic at all.

A question was asked, no such label was applied. What you inferred from the question is your issue.

Have a fantastic weekend!!!

Oh boy... I didn't think this forum had so many soft skinned people - lets move on shall we...
I personally don't think that slinging matche are really needed on this type of forum - but then again, I guess some have too much time sitting in hotel rooms or lounges... I know that is where I tend to do most of my reading of this site.

Take care all.... and to those not in Melbourne, enjoy the warmth of where ever you are...:D

I'm hoping that the young turk who was sitting in 1C on the above flight is a member of this forum and gets to read this post. Young fella, you need some lessons in how to travel on an airplane. Sitting in 1C, with your seat fully reclined for the entire flight with your black shoes up on the forward bulkhead (making marks) is not a good look!!
JB

JB,

The guy must have been ADL based, us WA people all have excellent aircraft manners. Well, maybe not, but anyway I on the occasion do also recline, but never put my feet on the seats or the bulkhead infront, and would have no problems of sitting up to let you out, and remaining so till you got back. Given that I am normally in a window seat, and as I said only occasionly recline, this hasn't happened very often.

I am sorry you had to experience this on a flight from PER, but can only say I hope it wasn't a WA based pax.

I like to recline, but i will never recline until the meal service has completed and trays collected, and when the next meal i always put my seat forward BEFORE they get to us !

I can't work in Y anyway so makes no difference what the person in front does.

I am an isle person and i always gladly get up when somebody wants to get out, nobody should ever have to climb over ! unless she is very cute and flexible ;) j/k

we have had he reclining debate many times. The OP made his point. Time to close this before it gets out of control.
