Does anyone know why QF51 Brisbane to Singapore is always delayed or even cancelled? I've been following it recently and although I don't fly for a number of weeks I'm getting concerned about whether I will make the connecting flights in Singapore. Recently delays have been up to 4 hours and today instead of flying at 10.35am its delayed until 6.30am tomorrow. Anyone able to shed any light on this?

Welcome to AFF @Jakey

It is not obvious based on the aicraft movements
Most if not all of the delayed departure were preceded by the same aircraft arriving into BNE with adequate turnover times.

How much time do you have between arrival and departure in SIN and is it on a separate ticket and which airline?

Hi thanks for your replies. Its a Codeshare booking. It was all booked through JAL and QF51 was the flight they offered. BNE - SIN, SIN to HND, HND to LHR. (JAL from SIN to LHR) I'm assuming we didn't get offered the direct BNE - NRT flight as that would require changing airports. We have 4.5 hours layover in SIN but based on recent QF51 delays that may not be enough time

You will be protected by JL for all sectors to LHR - meaning they will automatically put you on the next available.

If the LHR destination is time critical, suggest asking JL for a change to the day before.
or Maybe BNE-SYD then SYD-HND?
