Have never taken a domestic flight at an international terminal. What's the go here?

I picked it as it was same price and I wanted to use J lounge at T1 instead of QP at T3 for a change of scenery :) So I'm assuming you check in as normal and proceed to Jlounge and then go to your gate.

I'm guessing I need photo ID, I'll just take my passport anyway as I usually have this when travelling.

Anything you can't do? I guess duty free stuff.

Be aware that you will be subject to the liquid restrictions for international flights. So nothing >100ml and have it in your little plastic bag.

You're right about having picture ID, a passport is very good.

No duty free, but hey can't have everything.

The "orange sticker" with a Big D on it will 'hopefully' let you get through customs and immigration quickly at the other end. YMMV (particularly if you land at SYD or MEL and its a doghouse)

Definitely need to check in then! I usually carry the lot on domestic, but oh well, will be nice not to lug it around :D

Thanks Hvr!

Yep notzac, via BNE. I am getting off there and then returning to SYD via domestic a few days later.
QF 19 only operates SYD-BNE one day a week (Thursdays). I have taken it after arriving early am into SYD on my way home to BNE.

Yep... learnt that the hard way... " I'm sorry sir, no you cannot take through, we are going to have to take that bottle of Johnny Walker BLUE label"

I had no idea that INT clearance rules would apply for that dom leg... wasnt too happy..

Didnt let it rest there though..

Going through immigration in SYD couldn't get any better. It was faster than Express. Well, I guess I couldn't see it. There was 4 lines of queues. I just went to the Diplomat/Crew/D line and was put in front of everyone else. The other people kind of boo'd at me. Arriving into BNE was a pain in the .. took forever to get through customs. I wish I had an express pass then and there!!

When I arrived into BNE, the BP was stamped "ARRIVED". Then before I was sent to the "K-9 Channel", they took my pass.

While in the J Lounge I was able to photocopy my BP.

Here it is

Strange!

A D sticker is normally as good as or better than an express voucher.

You do need to make it obvious you have the BP with a D sticker - you are then normally sent straight out.

Just lots of people. We had to queue with another INT flight actually leaving the terminal .... :(

It was good on the way out of SYD
