Hi all,

My brother flew out on QF93 to LAX today connecting onto QF11 to JFK. However, I just checked QF11 from SYD-LAX which was meant to take off at 9.50am today hasn't left! Scheduled for an 8pm takeoff.

Has anyone heard about this/ why there is a delay?

What will happen to QF11 LAX-JFK?

Thanks :)

The QF11 LAX-JFK sector is done by the QF15 from BNE. so if thats on time he'll be fine. The QF11 today is an A380 and that doesn't go on to JFK..

And the 93 today was a 747 as well.. OEG..

As mentioned, the aircraft to JFK operates BNE-LAX-JFK-LAX-SYD as QF15/QF11/QF18.
If a connecting QF pax misses the JFK tag, or it doesn't operate for some reason, QF will likely transfer people to one of the dozen or so AA LAX-JFK flights.
