Hi, I have a booking on QF107 (in Y!) which is a 747-400 from SYD-LAX then a change of aircraft for LAX-JFK, which I believe is an A330-200?

If so, I have been looking at SeatGuru to work out where would be the most comfortable (??) in the A330, bearing in mind I would like to be able to see out of the plane (ie not over the wings I guess).

SeatGuru suggests that rows 26-41 are over the wings. Are the diagrams pretty accurate on SeatGuru? I was thinking maybe rows 24 or 25 (A/K) would be good if they are before the wings but can't tell if these are designated Y+ or just Y.

Besides the exit row 45 (after row 41) nothing is mentioned as a 'good seat' in Y.......any suggestions from travellers who have been on this flight as to where is a (relatively) good seat near the back of the plane if I can't have 24 or 25 A/K?

Thank you, all replies appreciated.

I've found SeatGuru to be pretty average at giving any sort of real recommendation about what is a good seat and what isn't. But I guess it is at least something to work from...

Rows 24/25 are definitiely over the wing. The 'non obstructed view' seats start from behind Doors 3 (Row 45). I would go for the exit row 45, or the one behind, 46. Probably would avoid the rows from 53 back, where the aisle starts to narrow because of the curve of the aircraft.
