QF10 on Flightradar Last Night

Sometimes FR24 data gets a bit messed up, sometimes it has fewer data points and so displays hard turns rather than the actual route flown.

QF10 approaching PER now so maybe weather related; maybe airspace related.

Nothing doing.

Thanks Scarlett. I did check it was safely on track for Perth later. The ground speed graph had me mystified too

Outside North America, the majority of data used by FR24 comes from people with ADS-B receivers sending the data to the site. In areas without ADS-B receivers available to FR24, tracking can get a bit... odd.
