Just noticed on 1 Jan for that day only, QF 10 SIN-MEL becomes QF 36. I belive that's the flight number the SIN-MEL will have after the MEL-LHR-MEL switches to 'via Dubai'. Any ideas why they'd change just this flight for just this day? Reverts to QF10 the next day. No change in aircraft from what i can see. What's special on 1 Jan for this flight?

I think it is because there is no QF10 LHR-SIN on December 31.
